WA Mandatory Reporting Reminder

Changes to Mandatory Reporters in Western Australia commenced on 1^st November 2022, and sees an amendment to the Children and Community Services Amendment Act 2021 (WA).

Psychologists and School counsellors have been added as new reporters who will be required to report child sexual abuse with a commencement date of 1 May 2024.
